Zhong-Hua Han

Dr. Han received his B.Sc. degree in Aerodynamics and Flight Dynamics from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) of China in 2000 and received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Fluid Mechanics from NPU in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He worked as a research scientist from 2007 to 2010 in C2A2S2E division, DLR Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology. His current affiliation is with the School of Aeronautics of NPU, where he is the dean assistant, head of the Internationalization Office and professor in Department of Fluid Mechanics. His current research interests include surrogate modeling and optimization, surrogate-based aero-database, design of wind-turbine airfoil and supercritical laminar airfoil.
