José Alberto Luna López received his B. S. degree from the Electromechanical Engineering School of the Apizaco Technology Institute (EES-ITA) in Tlaxcala, Mexico. The M.S. from the Science Institute- Center of Investigation in semiconductors Devices of the Benemerita Universidad autonoma de Puebla (IC-CIDS-BUAP) in Puebla, Mexico, and the Ph.D. from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE) in Puebla, Mexico, the MS degree in Semiconductors Devices, and Ph. D. in Science electronics. He is currently researcher and professor in the Science Institute-CIDS of the BUAP. He realized a Post-Ph. D in the Center of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology of the UNAM in Ensenada, Baja california, México. He worked in the development of Ferroelectrics materials to used as photoconductors. He had authored o coauthored over 30 technical papers. He was responsible of establishing the Transparent Conductors Oxide laboratory of CIDS-BUAP. His last development was a silicon UV-Vis Photodetector with silicon nanoparticles. His research interest is the physic and technology of materials with nanoparticles and optolectronics devices with silicon.
