Dr. Tao ZHENG was born in Chongqing, China, in1981. In 2003 and 2008, he received his B.E. degree and Ph. D. degree from University of Science and Technology of China, both in Automatic Control. He was awarded the President’s Excellent Prize of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He is currently at the Department of Automation, Hefei University of Technology, China. Dr. ZHENG’s recent interests are in Advanced Model Predictive Control (including Nonlinear Model Predictive Control and Multi-objective Model Predictive Control), Multi-objective Optimization and Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm. He is also interested in the application of optimization theory in economic field, such as the optimization problem in currency-circulation system.
