Maria Antonietta Ferrara received her M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 2003, and her Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering with a thesis from the University “Mediterranea” of Reggio Calabria, Italy, in 2008. Since 2008 she has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems, Naples, where she carried out research on themes “advanced optoelectronic devices and integrated sources based on nonlinear Raman scattering” and “noncontact optical characterization based on interferometric techniques”. Since 2012 she has been a Researcher at the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems, and her research interests are in fields of digital holography, volume holographic optical elements, nonlinear optics, coherent Raman spectroscopy and microscopy. She is the author of more than 75 peer-reviewed scientific papers published on indexed journals, 5 book chapters and holder of several patents.
