Hamsakutty Vettikalladi

Dr. Hamsakutty Vettikalladi was born in kerala, India, on January 19, 1976. He received the B.Sc degree in Physics from University of Calicut, Kerala, India, in 1996, M.Sc in Electronics, with First Rank and gold medal, and PhD in Microwave Electronics, both from Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala, India, in 1999 and 2008 respectively. From 1999 to 2005 he was working as a Lecturer in the department of Electronics, WMO college under University of Calicut, India, Where he was the board of Chairman in Electronics during 2005-2006. He started part time research in 2002 and became full time from 2005 to 2008 at Cochin university of Science and Technology, Kerala, India. His area of research was microwave antennas, FDTD modeling, microwave medical imaging, phantom model development etc. In 2008 he joined in the department of Electrical Engineering, University of Arkansas, USA as Postdoctoral Research Associate and later to Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication of Rennes (IETR), University of Rennes1, France, where he is currently working as an Associate Scientist with millimeter wave antenna group. Dr. Vettikalladi is the author of 40 research publications in well reputed journals and conferences and a book chapter on 60 GHz antennas for InTech Publication. He is the reviewer of many international Journals. His research areas are mainly on the development of high efficient and high gain antennas using different technology for millimeter wave applications
