Nanoscience and Nanowires-Interview with IntechOpen's author Dr. Louis De Smet

Following the publishing of 15 new scientific books, IntechOpen has had the pleasure to interview one of its authors, Dr. Louis de Smet, on the subject of Nanowires and Open Access.

Dr. De Smet agreed to answer a few questions on Nanowires and the status of Open Access in his country of origin, The Netherlands.

Dr. De smet is assistant professor at the department of Chemical Engineering of Delft university of Technology, The Netherlands. With his colleagues Ernst Sudholter, Marleen Mescher, and Daniela Uliien, dr. De Smet contributed to the book Nanowires-Implementations and Applications, submitting a highly specialised chapter titled Organic Surface Modification of Silicon Nanowire-Based Sensor Devices.
