IntechOpen Releases Inaugural Book Series Annual Volumes

The first annual volumes in our IntechOpen Book Series 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'Infectious Diseases' have been published. Annual volumes are yearly publications that present state-of-the-art research within a series' scientific field. These are the first two annual volumes planned for each series that will showcase cutting edge research in their respective field.

Topic Editors, Marco Antonio Aceves Fernandez and Carlos M.Travieso-Gonzalez, edited the Artificial Intelligence Annual Volume 2022, which presents recent research findings on applied intelligence and machine learning. These topics address the increasing importance the artificial intelligence plays today and its applications in many different fields. 

Infectious Diseases Annual Volume 2022, co-edited by Topic Editors Katarzyna Garbacz, Tomas Jarzembowski, Yuping Ran, Amidou Samie, and Shailendra K. Saxena addresses various aspects and characteristics of different types of infectious diseases, including future diagnostic approaches and therapeutic strategies.

The IntechOpen Book Series are tailored to the needs of the twenty-first century scholars thanks to our innovative concept. Topics are always open for submissions, giving researchers the freedom to set their own deadlines and choose among the topics that correspond to their research the most. Each series is led by the Series Editors and a team of Topic Editors, supported by an international Editorial Board. 

Following a robust peer-review process, accepted chapters are published through the Online First service, making research results immediately available to the scientific community. The ISSN and ISBN assignments give researchers more citation and indexing opportunities. 

Since the debut of the IntechOpen Book Series, we have grown to eleven series and published 126 books overall focused on fast-growing research areas that drive and advance society. Stay tuned for the updates since we will be announcing new series throughout 2023.
