Downloads reach 10 million for IntechOpen

The total number of downloaded academic papers via IntechOpen has surpassed the 10 million milestone, with the paper "Thermodynamic Properties of Nano-Silver and Alloy Particles" by Professor Wangyu Hu from Hunan University, China in the book Silver Nanoparticles marking the ten millionth download.

In the last year alone users have downloaded over 27,000 papers from our dedicated reading platform which includes a growing collection of research papers that have received more than 3.5 million downloads. Of note is the rise in the number of Medical-related publications which now stands at 461 titles, followed by Engineering (381 titles), Computer & Information Science (221 titles) and Life Sciences (166 titles).

The highest volume of downloads come from the United States which represents 24 per cent of total downloads, followed by China (22 per cent), Japan (15 per cent), and India (14.5 per cent).

This significant milestone demonstrates the increasing demand and recognition for the quality of our author's work and we are delighted that IntechOpen continues to be the preferred publishing partner for so many researchers to disseminate their work on a global scale.
