54 IntechOpen Authors Included in the 2017 Highly Cited Researchers List

Since 2014, The Highly Cited Researchers List has been published by Clarivate Analytics to highlight some of the world’s most influential scientific minds.  The list includes the names of researchers whose publications over the previous 10 years have included a high number of Highly Cited Papers placing them among the top 1% most cited.

IntechOpen is proud to announce that the list released for 2017 names 54 of our authors as Highly Cited Researchers, ranking them among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and publication year.

A total of 73 IntechOpen authors have been included in the list since 2014 with authors Alberto Mantovani, He Tian, Joachim Maier, Junji Kido, and Ron De Graaf making the list for the fourth year in a row. 

Seven of our Top Cited authors, Francisco Herrera (University of Granada, Spain), George Adrian Calin (University of Texas, United States), Poom Kumam (China Medical University, Taiwan), Vincenzo Fogliano (Wageningen University and Research Center, Netherlands) and two-time authors Biswajeet Pradhan (University of Technology, Australia), Cyrus Cooper (University of Southampton, England) and Minggao Ouyang (Tsinghua University, China​) ​​​​​​published 8 chapters in 2017 collectively.

As citations help track the impact of a given finding or discovery and serve as a testament to the relevance and influence of any given research as judged by scientists themselves, this is a huge honor for our authors, and we congratulate them on this incredible achievement.
