Ricardo Diaz
Ricardo Sobhie Diaz is an expert physician with a training in infectious diseases, conducting translational research in HIV/AIDS. He is a professor at the Infectious Diseases Department of Paulista School of Medicine at the Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and has over 100 articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is also a member of the “Brazilian Consensus Guidelines for Antiretrovirals for Adults and Adolescents of the Brazilian Ministry of Health”, and acts as a consultant in the area of Laboratory of STD/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis Department of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Dr Diaz is an elected governing council member of the International AIDS Society, representing Latin America and the Carribean.
