Kerry Thoirs
Kerry commenced her professional career as a radiographer after graduating with an Associate Diploma in Radiologic Technology in 1981. In 1988 she completed a Diploma in Medical Sonography and practiced as a radiographer and sonographer, in various supervisory roles until commencing a full time academic career in 2008. She currently is the Program Director of the undergraduate medical radiations university program at the University of South Australia, and teaches into their postgraduate Medical Sonography program. Kerry also holds a Masters in Medical Radiations, and a PhD for her thesis in the role of ultrasound in the diagnosis of ulnar nerve entrapment at the elbow.
