Mohamed Fadhali

Dr Mohamed Fadhali, PhD (Physics, UTM, Malaysia), MSc (Physics, CUSAT, India), BSc (Honor-Applied Physics / Laser, UT, Iraq), is an Assistant Professor of Photonics and Laser Physics at the Department of Physics, Ibb University, Yemen. He has about 12 years of teaching and research experience in laser physics and optics. Dr. Fadhali is the author and co-author of about 22 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and more than 30 proceedings and conference presentations. He also has two years of experience of working as an Optical Communication Engineer in Public Telecommunication Corporation, Yemen. He is a member of SPIE and OSA. He is a reviewer in many international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Fadhali has adequate experience in laser weld machines and their peripherals, vacuum machines and pulsed laser deposition. He is very familiar with most of photonics/optoelectronics systems applied for optical communications and biophotonics. He has adequate experience in computer applications and programming as well as MATLAB coding & simulations for a variety of applications. Dr Fadhali was invited as guest speaker at the Advanced Photonic Science Institute (APSI), UTM, Malaysia, August 2008. He was later invited as a visiting lecturer at (APSI) (September 2008 – February 2008). He held many invited talks locally and internationally. Dr Fadhali was awarded the SPIE award for the best paper (ICPN2007, Pattaya, Thailand) and the best research paper award for professionals (CUTSE 2008, Malaysia).
