Andrey Bychkov

Dr. Bychkov completed his MD with honors from Smolensk State Medical Academy in the year 2002, completed his residency in pathology from Smolensk Regional Institute of Pathology. He was appointed as Head of Department of Infectious Pathology at the Smolensk Regional Institute of Pathology in 2006. During his tenure as a pathologist, he was also a lecturer of pathology at Department of Pathological Anatomy of Smolensk State Medical Academy. Now he is involved in the project focused on molecular pathology of radiation-induced thyroid cancer at Nagasaki University Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Research projects of Dr. Bychkov were supported by Russian Government Foundations, UICC and Japanese Government. He has over 20 publications and has been a speaker in recent pathological scientific conferences in Russia.
