Wei-Ta Fang

Wei-Ta Fang was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on February 14, 1966. He received a B.A. degree in land economics and administration from National Taipei University, Taipei, Taiwan in 1989. He received his first master degree in environmental planning (MEP) from Arizona State University in 1994, and second master degree in landscape architecture in design studies (MDes) from the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University in 2001, and a Ph.D degree at the Department of Rangeland Ecology and Management, Texas A&M University in 2005. He served as a specialist in the Taipei Land Management Bureau from 1991 to 1992, and a senior specialist in charge of national environmental impact assessment (EIA) in the Taiwan EPA headquarter from 1994 to 2006. He is currently teaching at the Graduate Institute of Environmental Education, National Taiwan Normal University and serving as General Secretary at Taiwan Wetland Society .
