Hidajet Salkić

Hidajet Salkić was born in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 09th of April, 1963. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree from University of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), in 1989, 2003 and 2008, respectively. He also finished Trainning programs implemented by the center for Intrernational Understanding at Bluefield State College For World learning Academy For Educational Development, Meridian International, Africa America Institute, may-june 1998: Electric Utility Managers, Bosnia - Herzegovina. Currently employed at PE Elektroprivreda BiH Sarajevo where he conducts a series of specialist and management functions, primarily managing development and maintenance of electrical facilities and optimization and development of power distribution components as well as planning and supervising a power consumption. He is also an external associate at University of Tuzla, Faculty of electrical engineering, Department of electrical engineering and energy conversion systems and Faculty of Mining, geology and civil engineering, Department of security and help. Professor at the Study Program Energetic of High School (CEPS ) Working area  Mathematical modeling, numerical solving and methodology for measuring of electric and magnetic fields in power systems of electricity production, transmission and distribution,  Transients and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in power systems, the biological effects of electromagnetic fields and protection against non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation,  Distributed generation of electricity from renewable sources – feasibility study, studies of connection to the network, electricity production calculation and impact to the environment,  Technical diagnostic of power system components and their maintenance, integrated fields, new technologies in electromechanical systems, management and regulation of electrical drives and interaction between power network and drive motors,  Control and power quality in terms of market conditions, European norms, recommendations and standards,  Monitoring of power and processing facilities for the purpose of continuous monitoring of the exploitation conditions, timely identification and fault diagnostic on power facilities and protection from emergency operating conditions,  Consulting services during the execution of projects designing and modernization of the facilities according to the state of technic and technology, development of technical solutions and technical security measures in the implementation of power facilities and distribution networks,  Active knowledge of the Fotran, Matlab, EFC-400, Corel Draw, Power World Sim., and other software packages related to the field of electrical engineering.
