Moslih Al-Moslih
Moslih Al-Moslih received his PhD (1972) in medical microbiology from the University of Nebraska, Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. He went on to work as assistant professor in the same department at Nebraska Medical Center. He taught two courses in microbiology: one for undergraduate medical students and the other course for graduate students. He also supervised medical lab diagnosis and a research project related to EBV and Burkitt’s lymphoma using the transfection method to explore transformation by EB virus in cell culture. He was a member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) and FISBT. Professor Al-Moslih has published more than 84 scientific papers in different abstracted, refereed and indexed journals and four books in microbiology for third year medical students. Most of these papers were in the area of infectious and molecular diseases. He has worked as consultant for several institutes and government agencies on a national and international level.
