Professor at Lisbon Universitary Institute, Nuno Luis Madureira works currently in the areas of contemporary history of energy, economic history and history of technology. He was visiting scholar at University of Harvard- Massachusetts (2008-2009) and visiting scholar at University of Berkeley- California (2004-2005). Since 2006 he is a Member of the permanent pool of referees of the European Foundation of Science - EFS and has coordinated several research projects sponsored by Scientific National Agencies and private enterprises. His articles can be found on the following international reviews: Energy Policy, Environment and History, Journal of Global History, European Review of History- Revue Europeenne d'Histoire, Journal of Contemporary History, Business History, Contemporary European History, Politica y Sociedad, LLul. Short articles can also be found in several International encyclopaedias.
