University of Wollongong Australia

My first career in Chemistry started at Monash University (65-72), a post-Doc with David Craig at the Research School of Chemistry at ANU in Canberra, and appointment to Chemistry at the new University of Wollongong (73-91). I enjoyed a Fulbright award to Caltech in 1976-7. Two early research visits to France's CNRS (70, 74) and Germany's MPI Astrophysik in Garching (78), Hahn-Meitner Institute in Berlin (80) and University of Bonn (1982) advanced my international quantum chemistry research calibration, for which hosting the International Atomic & Molecular Physics and Quantum Chemistry at Wollongong in 1980 was a highpoint.
