Nieves Gallego Ripoll
Nieves Gallego Ripoll received the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications and electronics engineering, B.E. and M.S. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (U.P.V.), Spain. M.B.A. degree from the E.O.I. Business School, Spain. She was with Siemens Munchen, A.G. and Nokia R&D Ulm, Germany, from 2000 to 2002. He joined UPV in 2003 where she was a teaching assistant at the Department of Electronics Engineering and a researcher at the Institute for the Applications of Advanced Information and Communication Technologies (ITACA). She currently is a freelance consultant. She published articles for different national and international conferences and books. Her professional and research interests are related to detection and classification sensors, sensor networks, laser systems, optical systems, mobile communications and eSafety systems.
