Sara Uhač has been appointed Managing Director of InTech at the beginning of 2014. She directs and controls the company’s operations. Sara joined InTech in 2010 as Head of Journal Publishing, a newly introduced department yet to be strategically developed at that time. After obtaining a Master's degree in Media Management, she is now completing her PhD at the University of Lugano (Switzerland). She holds a BA in Financial Market Management from the Bocconi University in Milan (Italy), where she started her career in the American publishing house Condé Nast. Her formal knowledge of the industry has been consolidated by publishing her own papers and collaborating with the UK-based publishing company Time Out. She is a member of the professional branch association of "Publishers, designers and graphic artists" at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Furthermore, Sara was awarded with a professional degree in publishing from Yale University (2012).

Natalia Reinić, Strategic Projects Manager

Natalia Reinić joined InTech in 2010 and by 2012, was appointed Managing Editor of InTech's flagship publication, the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems. She actively engaged in numerous initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening the brand. These projects and initiatives included: InTeract 2012 - a one day conference, Highlights - the journal's promotional supplement, IJARS Women in Robotics initiative, and IJARS Video Series - a new OA video platform. In 2015, she became Head of Journal Publishing, and was recently promoted to Strategic Projects Manager. Natalia graduated English Language, Literature and Computer Science from the University of Rijeka (Croatia). Her previous professional experience includes marketing & sales at T-Mobile Croatia.

Danijela Duric

Danijela Đurić has been part of InTech's team since 2011. She started as Publishing Process Manager and soon became a team supervisor. In 2012, she joined the Marketing Department where her main activities included market research and developing projects aimed at promoting publications. By the end of the same year, she was promoted to Head of Book Publishing, a position that involves coordinating editorial, acquisition, production and logistics departments. Danijela oversees the book department processes while ensuring that all goals are reached. In collaboration with the sales team, she is currently focused on expanding the book distribution markets. Danijela graduated English Language, Literature and Pedagogics from the University of Rijeka (Croatia); moreover, she holds a professional degree in Marketing Management.

Jelena Cevizovic

Jelena Čevizović, Head of Logistics

Jelena Čevizović joined InTech in 2010 as Head of Logistics and Print Sales. She oversees all print, logistics and distribution processes, also coordinating a portfolio of international representatives with the aim to disseminate InTech's publications worldwide. In 2011, she successfully implemented the POD program for all InTech's books. Jelena is actively involved in projects aimed at increasing efficiency and cost-optimisations. She has several years of experience working in the commercial sector at a senior management level for one of the leading distribution networks in Croatia. Jelena holds a degree in Logistics from the Jönköping University (Sweden), where she was also a professional handball player at a national level. She continues to upgrade her knowledge by attending professional courses in Logistics and Direct Management.

Sasa Marcan

Saša Marcan, Library and Scholarly Communication Specialist - Research Integrity Team

Saša Marcan started working for InTech in November 2011, supporting the Book Department's Editorial and Acquisitions teams in their ventures. In August 2012, he was promoted to Library & Information Service Coordinator. Within this role, his responsibilities ranged from dealing with publication ethics matters to abstracting & indexing and metadata maintenance. Expanding his responsibilities and focusing more onto bibliometrics analyses, standards and compliance, and academic marketing projects, in December 2015, his role was renamed to Library & Scholarly Communication Specialist. Saša holds a BA in Cultural Studies; his previous professional experience includes working at the University Library Rijeka where he discovered and developed his passion for publishing in all its forms.

Ivan Suljic

Ivan Šuljić, Publishing Ethics and Legal Affairs - Research Integrity Team

At the beginning of 2015, Ivan Šuljić joined InTech's Research Integrity Team with the purpose to oversee publishing ethics and legal affairs. He is responsible for legal support - especially for intellectual property and ethical issues, as well as company policies on open access publishing. Ivan graduated Law from the University of Rijeka (Croatia). After graduation, he acquired his first professional experience in a Law Office. Before joining InTech, Ivan worked as a Program Coordinator at the Croatian Science Foundation where he gained experience in organising science workshops, project applications, peer review and EU projects. In 2012, he started his own company active in the tourism sector; moreover, he has experience in sales and procurement. Since a young age, Ivan is involved in sport journalism and he contributes to daily newspapers and internet portals.

Mirta Benvin

Mirta Benvin, Head of Marketing

Mirta Benvin joined InTech's marketing team in July 2011 as Marketing Manager. She was responsible for executing marketing activities, InTech's brand development, organizing and preparing conferences and events. In 2012, she moved to Shanghai and joined the team in charge of developing InTech's business in China where she was primarily focused on building brand awareness to help drive business results. In 2015 she re-joined the headquarters as Head of Marketing. She holds a BA in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. Before joining InTech, Mirta worked for the Marketing and Communication Department of Intesa Sanpaolo Card, Miele, Advertising Agency JWT and Hewlett-Packard.
