March 4, 2016
Nanobiomedicine journal has partnered with BioPharma Research Council to organise the upcoming symposium titled “Point of Care Diagnostics: Design, Development, & Adoption”. This is a virtual conference to be held on August 10, 2016, 10am - 5pm EDT. The journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Winston Patrick Kuo, is a member of the event’s committee alongside Tom White (Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics, FIND), and Jose Almeida (Medical Device Market).
Innovations in point-of-care (POC) diagnostic research are poised to revolutionize healthcare domestically and globally. The field is expanding rapidly and is beginning to impact patient care. This one-day online Symposium will address these issues from multiple perspectives, enhancing cross-silo discussions and knowledge sharing on ways that POC device developers are overcoming hurdles in implementation.
Nanobiomedicine will publish a Special Issue on the main topics falling within this conference’s scope. All submitters of conference abstracts may be invited to prepare manuscripts for this upcoming Special Issue to be made available internationally. Please note that the Abstract Submission Deadline is set to April 5, 2016, 11:30 pm EDT.
