Looking Forward To A Science-Rich 2013
December 18, 2012
Even if, according to the Mayans predictions, the end of the world is inexorably approaching, we believe not even Mayans will prevent us from entering 2013 full of renewed expectations and new Open Access milestones.
We have been working hard towards our ultimate goal of freeing key research achievements from science advancements gatekeepers as we strongly believe in open science and open data. Science and research is for the benefit of all communities worldwide, both scientific and the general public.
In 2012, we have published +2,000 books, numerous journals' articles from prominent researchers in the fields of Technology, Robotics, Nanotechnology, Business Management just to mention a few, and we have been rewarded for all our efforts and hard work by readers worldwide and a whooping +17 million downloads of our publications, proving the power of free knowledge.
By supporting openly accessible science you support research which might save lives, ameliorate the quality of life, change the future as we know it today. All of our authors and readers have been key in helping InTech's team grow stronger and to always look forward towards contributing to the progress of all scientific communities world-wide.
Wishing you all good things now and throughout the coming year.
