October 7, 2014
In celebration of IJARS’s 10th year anniversary, the editorial team has launched a new section featuring robotics-related videos as an addition to the journal’s current portfolio.
The Video Series section will regularly feature video interviews and lectures showcasing the latest research and application novelties within the field of robotics, as well as personal overviews on the state of robotics by some of the currently most active robotics professional worldwide.
The first video we are thrilled to publish is our team’s interview with Peter Corke, roboticist active in fields of Visual Servoing, Field Robotics, Machine Vision, as well as MATLAB Toolboxes for Robotics. Prof. Corke is the Director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Robotic Vision and Professor of Robotics and Control at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
Prof. Corke unveils his latest research efforts and robotics applications in agriculture, as well as an overview of his career, details in regard to his lab and new ways of promoting robotics research to audiences around the world.
