Update my profile » - José D. Carrillo-Ruiz has earned his M.D., M.Sc and PhD. from La Salle University and the National University of Mexico (UNAM). He also coursed his residency in Neurosurgery at Mexico General Hospital and UNAM, and made a fellowship in Stereotaxy and Functional Neurosurgery at Henri Mondor Hospital, Paris and Paris IV University, France. He belongs to the Stereotactic & Functional Neurosurgery and Radiosurgery Unit at Mexico General Hospital like staff physician and he is the Coordinator of Neuroscience Laboratory at Anahuac University in Mexico City. He is an expert in the area and has published several articles of basic and clinic research involving different neurological and psychiatric diseases including Parkinson´s disease, epilepsy, pain, depression and spasticity neuromodulation.
