He participated in over 35 oceanographic cruises. Participates in numerous national and European research projects and applied research. Has coordinated several national research projects and two subtasks of a European program (MFSTEP). Creator of Oceanographic instruments and platforms for the study of physical and ecological processes at meso and macro-scale.
