InTechOpen author Yoshinori Ohsumi awarded the 2016 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine

October 24th marks the beginning of Open Access Week 2016 - seven days dedicated to highlighting and promoting free access to science’s latest achievements. InTechOpen would like to invite you to celebrate Open Access Week with us. We have created a word association survey to learn what Open Access means to our researchers. Since word associations are deeply ingrained in the study of mental lexicons, we have prepared, together with Dr. Gert Storms (University of Leuven, Belgium) and Dr. Simon De Deyne (University of Adelaide, Australia), a short overview of their study of this very phenomenon titled “Small World of Words.” Join our Open Access Week celebrations here.

In Focus

A collection of our books is indexed by the Book Citation Index in the Web of Science™ Core Collection (BKCI). BKCI is a part of Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) together with SCI Expanded, SSCI, AHCI and other databases. Web of Science is the world’s leading citation index with multidisciplinary content from the top tier international and regional journals, conference proceedings, and books. We are working on expanding BKCI's coverage of our titles, so expect this list to be updated with new additions on a regular basis. Titles currently indexed in BKCI are available here.
